Modified Hoshi's look a tad with this post. Gonna go with it. Hoshi (star in Japanese) is Katsu Akihito, grew up with a rough life, lost her beloved Mom while she was still quite young. Retrieved by her father and his sprawling mob network, she evolved into a top assassin. When she learned that her father had actually killed her mother, she turned against him and vowed to take him and his network down. Thanks to the Neogen flux event, Katsu's body now absorbs ambient stellar energy from, primarily, the sun, due to its proximity to Earth. This energy can give her enhanced strength and durability, flight, and the ability to fire stellar energy blasts in the form of high-energy pulse projectiles resembling small stars.
